I am native Ethiopian and yet I decided to put out some information about Dukem. We Ethiopians are by default very hospitable regardless of income. I expected the same thing when we walked into Dukem restaurant on July 14th, 2007. It was a terrible experience unlike anything else. We were told to wait for a table while there were quite a few of them open. Actually, there were very few people dining. We waited for a while and we were assigned to one. As soon as we sat, another waitress came and told us to leave the table because we are five and they do not allow five people to sit on a four chair-table. we were polite and waited until she calls us. It took about 45 minutes. We were hungry, irritated and almost in shock to witness such unwelcome. The lady kept murmuring and finally we had our table. My colleagues said let us walk out. I insisted to see what happens next because this is absolutley not humain. The food we were served was not that tasty. Oh my, I will never ever step there. I thought their service was as good as their website. I hope they will read this and make necessary correction.
